Who are we? The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, tracing its roots to an anniversary date of 1908. It was founded to spread the message of scriptural holiness (Christlike living) across the lands. Today the Church of the Nazarene is located in 155 world areas with 23,000 congregations.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Great Commission church. We believe that God offers to everyone forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love, meaning in life, and the promise of heaven when life is over by entering and experiencing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are called to take this message to people everywhere.
The Church of the Nazarene is also a holiness church. We believe that Christians can experience a deeper level of life in which there is victory over sin, power to witness and serve, and a richer fellowship with God, all through the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Who are we at a local level? We are a great body of believers striving to bring others to Christ while developing our personal walk with Christ. We are a church of 200-250 people with our services and small groups. We are one of few Protestant Christian Churches in the Idaho Falls area. We have a great lead pastor which he has been here for 3+ years. We have a husband and wife duet on staff covering the areas of youth and children. Many great things are going on in the life of our Church. Please come in and see if this is the right Church for you to grow spiritually. Thanks for your time. Our Mission...Is to Honor, Introduce, Disciple, and Deploy. Our Vision...Is to fulfill the Great Commandment by honoring God though holy lives, and loving each other through acts of kindness and service; to fulfill the Great Commission by intentionally creating opportunities to introduce others to Christ, to foster an environment of spiritual growth through small groups and personal discipleship so Christians can mature, to strategically develop ways to deploy Christians into the community and world, to be the transforming presence of Jesus.
